Content analysis
The push notification content incorporated Indonesian traditional poetry. While this added a cultural touch, it failed to convey essential information.
The problem
The push notification missed the exact price reduction, leaving users uninformed and uncertain about the final price. As a result, they hesitated at the checkout stage.
Blibli only offers push notifications in Bahasa Indonesia, the English version is provided for contextual understanding only.

Solution
Attention-grabbing words
Utilise attention-grabbing terms to stand out among others. Even with truncated product names, the included image ensures easy comprehension in the collapsed notification.
Discounted price
Display the current discounted price as the main content in the body to immediately convey the price drop. This way, even in the collapsed version, the message provides sufficient information for a quick checkout.
Results
The push notification ran for one month and increased the CTR by:
28%
